2 Day Workshop - Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th July

This silk pashmina is worked in French Couture style Goldwork techniques using opulent materials – gilt metal threads, Swarovski Crystals and Pearls and New Zealand Fur. Using fur with Goldwork is something that Alison has wanted to do for some time.  Aside from the beads and fur, you will be using plate, whipped plate, purl and paillettes along with metal mesh to create the floral design. This piece is suitable for embroiderers of all skill levels – those new to Goldwork will love how quick this piece works up – those experienced stitchers may get close to finishing in class.
