2 Day Workshop - Thursday 9th & Friday 10th July

Tropical Treasures -2 handfelted floral georgette scarves

Create 2 beautiful hand felted silk scarves decorated with a variety of gorgeous patterns inspired by the colours and style of  tropical flowers and flowing botanical patterns. You will also be felting 3D flowers attached to our scarves. The base fabric will be black georgette silk.

Feltmaker Wendy Bailye will teach you how to make many different styles of flower patterns using wool and silk tops and threads. The totaldesignwill be your ownand each participant will create their own unique piece of wearable art to take home. This is a felt class suitable for all skill levels! It requires a small amount of physical work rubbing and rolling the felt.

Kit cost: $126.00

The kit contains 2 Tissue Silk Georgette scarves in black,  Wool tops 18 micron fine merino in colours you can choose on the day. Silk tops/fibres (hand dyed) to match or contrast wool colour. Threads and use of Wendy’s felting equipment including rolling mats soap, water bowls and netting.
