2 Day Workshop - Monday 6th & Tuesday 7th July

A soft warm breeze blows pollen through the shimmering heat of a mid summer garden full with billowing blooms of orange Rudbeckia. Catherine Howell has captured this colourful entrancing scene with three dimensional flowers, seeds and leaves created in Colourstreams hand dyed silk fabrics threads, velvet and sequins etc against a rich textural background of carefully hand dyed wool felt.

 In this workshop you will learn techniques that replicate the delicate life-like flowers and foliage, with embroidery stitches that emulate  movement of the summer breeze that is the focus in this cheerful garden scene.
