Berry Sewing Bag
The beautiful berry workbag featured in 'Inspirations' #27.  This bag was the start of the berry sewing collection.  Impress your friends with this beautiful and practical sewing bag.  It has four large outside pockets and is big enough to store your matching berry chatelaine, purse, tool pouch and needle book!
You will learn to work serrated leaves, stems, raspberries, beaded blackberries, strawberries and a strawberry flower in a variety of wolen threads and beads. Stitches used are running stitch, whipping, turkey knots, buttonhole stitch, french knots, beading, woven needle bars and woven picots.
Jan has embroidered 2 pockets but you may wish to embroider all four!  Add a delightful bee, spider and web, ladybug and snail.
The clear instructions will help you with the easy bag construction and the final embellishment of berry tassels.  The project is worked on cream damask.
