Art Deco Diva by Catherine Howell

Catherine's passion for the stylish and elegant, Art Deco period, has led to a new grand lady to the hall of the Diva fame, to sit alongside Tribute to Erte.

Art Deco used a lot of black so Catherine has used a black silk background to show off this ladies showpiece of a dress which is lavishly created with gold and copper stitched fethers. These feathers are made using a creative technique which Catherine has used.  It is adorned with goldwork sadi threads, sequins, beads and embroidery. If you love this period of fashionable art then this kit is for you. The completed design measures 30cm x 46cm.

Each female in individually hand painted onto the silk by Catherine herself, ensuring each one is unique.
