2 Day Workshop - Monday 6th & Tuesday 7th July

Join Katia for an exclusive workshop in Australia with Koala Conventions. Russian born and living in the USA, Katia is the designer and owner of Feuer und Wasser. In this project, you will create a large cowl/capelet/wrap OR seamless vest (depending on your choice or skill level).  You will begin by creating a pattern for the garment, based on individual measurements. Next, you will work on the idea for the details in the design and colors, and will create sketches thereof. The  final stage will be the nuno-felting of the garments, the use of decorative techniques, freeform embroidery, and the creation of smooth color transitions, as well as all finishing touches. Students will create exciting effects with the use of a sander during this workshop. Please choose your colour options when booking in.
