This feeding butterfly (Euploea core) is one of the most common butterflies found in Hong Kong. The beautiful forewings turn iridescent blue and purple under the sun and this species likes to feed on flower nectar. The ancient traditional techniques from the Suzhou province in China where the inspiration for the creation of this piece. Learn to shade in beautiful silk thread changing colours in the ancient Chinese way and learn the skills to complete this elegant ‘double sided’ project beautifully. This is an absolutely stunning design.
