'Carmen' Nuno Felted Jacket with Annie Huntley

2 Day Workshop - Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July

During this colourful workshop, this designer jacket is constructed first and will be felted over a template, which is a wonderful technique to learn, all seams covered with felted bind.

Annie has chosen contrast colours to show off cuff and collar, this is optional, tone on tone, or, all the one colour would work beautifully.

The fabric used here is a silk cheese cloth, but other fabrics to choose from are tissue silk and cotton cheesecloth. The felted design within can be as Annie's - a play on "the circle", or a design of your own choice, this particular piece is about the style and the technique used to create it

All silk fabrics are hand-dyed as is wool and wool/silk (which Annie has used on the surface to create a beautiful lustre)

Best of all when the felting is finished - so is your jacket.

Please indicate when booking whether your fabric preference is silk cheesecloth, tissue silk or cotton cheesecloth. Please also identify colour preferences of your choice.
