Camellia by Bets Maas

Bets Maas is a long term designer and tutor for 'Koala Conventions' International Embroidery and Textile Events.
The design for the camellia was created by using live plant material as a reference. Bets designed and stitched this beautiful camellia to resemble a flower from her garden. The embroidery technique used is called Barbola which is related to stumpwork, however in Barbola no wires are used and the result is very fine and very true to nature.

The kit contains all fabric and threads to complete the project.
