2 Day Workshop - Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th July

This reversible embroidery, where both sides are identical is known as ‘Both Sides Alike Embroidery’.  Historically this     technique was used by many nations for their national flags, for depicting crowns and heraldic designs, and for regimental   colours, crests and battle honours.  In this two-day class you will have the rare opportunity to study, practice and learn the   challenging skill of how to work beautiful designs in reversible, both sides alike embroidery by using the principal techniques to complete the illustrated project. "The project you will be stitching is English both sides alike and you will be exploring both flat and raised stitches on each side".  The finished size measures 18 cm x 19 cm approximately.

Skill Level: Experience in ‘Silk Shading’ and long and short stitches. Intermediate or Advanced
