Boîte à couture Sajou petit modèle provinces de France
This delightful small sewing box contains:
- a pair of scissors,
- a nickel-plated thimble,
- a beige Sajou dressmakers' tape measure with a ring on each end,
- a small, red seam ripper,
- a needle threader on a Sajou card,
- six cocoons of polyester sewing thread in pastel tones. The labels are randomly chosen from the Sajou collection. Each cocoon contains about 150 metres of thread.
- 15 Sajou sewing needles booklet,
- a rosette of 40 glass headed pins
- three thread cards.
Thread colours may vary subject to availability of our stocks, however, they will always be in the same tones. The colour of the needle booklet is subject to variation, as is the label on the pin rosette and the thread cards.
The box contains two trays, the top one can be removed and has a small Sajou ribbon on each side for gripping.
It is covered with a blue and white paper, identical to those used for our Mercerie vintage style storage boxes. The top of the cover has a Sajou label with eight medallions representing traditional regional French costumes. The interior of the cover is decorated with a rectangular Fil Au Sajou label.
The box measures length, 15.5 cm - width, 12 cm - height, 5.5 cm and the box and contents are all made in France.
