Tussah silk is produced from larvae of several species of silkworms belonging to the moth genus.
These silkworms live in the wild forests and are found in South Asia, eating the leaves of the trees they live on.
Tussah silk is valued for its rich texture and natural deep gold colour, and varieties are produced in many countries, including China, India, Japan and Sri Lanka.
It is packaged in 25g bags so that our customers can purchase a more extensive colour range and if you only want a hint of this colour you don’t need to purchase large quantities, however for all orders 100g plus of a particular colour you will be given 10% discount. (This will not show up on your original invoice but will be processed before your payment is completed)
