Going to Seed by Catherine Howell

Going to Seed was the top selling workshop at Koala Conventions - International Embroidery & Textile Event 2013.

Inspired by the Colourstreams range of metallic sequins, reminding Catherine of seeds falling in the Autumn Breeze, she set to researching the topic and came up with stunning design 'Going to Seed'. This superb kit is now available from us.

Incorporated into this design are metallic fabrics which when bonded give the exact impression of leaves dying back before winter. The dark green velvety background throws up the lovely patinas of the metallic sequins and beads, creating a delightful scene of flowers and foilage.

This is a stunning design when completed and is very dimensional.
